Malta

Malta lies between Sicily and the African Coast, in the central Mediterranean Sea. Along with other young people from all over the world, you will learn English right by the coast. Many of our students are regulars – we see them through to A Levels – and they are already looking forward to travelling with us to this island in the spring.
Your language course
Our school is situated in Sliema, only a few metres from the sea, the beach promenade and cafes. The school is accommodated in an old Maltese building. Our tutors use a modern approach to teaching and you will learn English quickly.

The leisure programme
All the activities offered on the LISA! programme are already included in the price: on your very first day, you and all the new students are invited to a welcome party at the language school, where you can gather information about the course location. We often all go to the beach together, to swim or play beach volleyball.
We take trips to the islands of Gozo and Comino, visit Mdina and go on a harbour tour. In the afternoons, we amble through Valetta, visit the markets or go to the cinema, while for the evenings, we organise a variety of activities including beach parties and barbecues. For those of you who are over 16, you will also have the opportunity to go out dancing in Paceville, in St. Juliens. On the last night, we organise a farewell party for everyone.
Other activities include: discos, go-karting, visit to Popeye Village, Mediterraneo Water Park, bowling, cinema, ice skating (prices vary).
Accommodation
Family: You will live in friendly host families that the school has known for years, in Double (DR) or triple rooms (TR) with full board (FB). All families are near the school, average distance from the school: 20 minutes on foot or by bus.
Supervision
Our team of friendly teachers, team leaders and host families will always
be there for you. There is also an emergency phone number for parents
and students.
Dear parents, please note that there are periods of time when your children
will be unsupervised, for example on the way to school. We are happy to discuss
any questions you may have, please contact us by phone or email.
