Italian Courses in Italy:
Come to our Italian language school and learn Italian in
Pisa
Pisa is home to the ‘Field of Miracles’, so named because of its famously crooked tower. In the narrow alleys of Galileo’s birth town, ‘signoras’ chat away from balcony to balcony.

Pisa

The Leaning Tower of Pisa has made this city world famous – yet incredibly, Pisa is not a place of mass tourism. The beautiful old part of town with its small alleyways is home to some quaint cafes and bars, as well as the yellow-painted houses, which are particularly characteristic for this part of town. The River Arno, which flows through the city, is ideal if you want to take a relaxed stroll and delve into the atmosphere of a typically Italian city with unique architecture.

Small restaurants invite you to try the delicious local Tuscan cuisine. Pisa has around 90 thousand inhabitants, half of which are students who give the city its character and ensure that Pisa is a lively place. Come and experience the typically Italian way of life!

The school
Our language school is situated in the centre of Pisa, only 2 minutes from the central train station. The famous buildings are within walking distance. The school is accommodated in a modern building. It has 6 welcoming, air-conditioned classrooms and a small library. All tutors specialise in teaching Italian as a foreign language and will help you to learn Italian quickly.

Sightseeing in Pisa
Pisa offers a multitude of cultural activities and traditional celebrations, such as the ’Gioco del Ponte’ and the ’Luminara’, both of which take place in June. The Gioco del Ponte is an event well worth seeing, when the young men of Pisa dress up in traditional costumes and push a heavy cart all around the city. During the Luminara, thousands of candles are placed along the River Arno and create a wonderful atmosphere all around Pisa.

The city of Florence is only an hour by train away from Pisa. The ’pearl
of Tuscany’ offers a multitude of beautiful buildings, cultural sights
and great shopping centres.
The neighbouring town of Lucca has not yet been touched by tourism and it is well worth a visit.
Most of its antique architecture has been conserved and offers a marvellous
medieval atmosphere.
The Mediterranean Sea is only about 15 minutes from
Pisa by public transport. The Tuscan coast offers lots of opportunities
for leisure and sports activities.
The unique and picturesque Tuscan
landscape begins just south of Pisa: rambling hills, vines and olive
trees, old stone houses and marvellous sunsets invite their visitors
to really explore and discover the area. To all wine lovers we recommend a visit to the
vineyards for wine tasting and to find out how wine is produced
– an experience not to be missed!
