This island in the south of Thailand is a beautiful holiday paradise.
The locals are extremely hospitable. The island measures 48 by
21 kilometres and has the most marvellous fine white sandy beaches,
picturesque bays and some great shopping centres. Thai delicatessen
is served in the many bars and restaurants here. Phuket is a popular
holiday resort with its beautiful natural environment of Indian rubber
plants, steep mountains, thick jungles, and great beaches along the crystal clear Lake Andamenen.
Phuket is also a paradise for diving with its beautiful coral reefs
and countless different kinds of fish. In the evenings, Patong
is a favourite meeting place. Its bars, discos, restaurants and
night markets are the perfect environment for an enjoyable night out.
The school
Our school is situated in the west of Phuket, only a few minutes from Patong beach. This beach is very lively and popular due to its beautiful bays. It offers a multitude of water sports, restaurants and shops.
The school is situated in a quiet location in a small street. There are several classrooms on the first two floors. All rooms are air-conditioned. All tutors are native speakers and specialise in teaching Thai as a foreign language – an ideal location for you to study Thai in Thailand.

Sightseeing in Phuket
Phuket offers various possibilities to relax and enjoy your free time.
It offers various kinds of water sports: surfing, sailing, jet skiing,
snorkeling and diving. Phuket has various diving schools where you can
acquire your diving licence in 4-5 days. Other sports activities are golf,
riding, or bungee jumping.
We recommend you hire a car or moped to discover the island and visit
Khao Phra Thaew National Park with its tropical rain forest, water falls,
and its Marine Biological Research Center with over 50 aquariums and
an orchid farm.
We also recommend a visit to the Three Beaches Viewpoint in the west
of the island which offers the most fantastic views at sunset.
If you feel adventurous, there is a snake farm which lets you see and
touch the snakes. We would also recommend a guided jeep tour and elefant
ride through the jungle.
Phuket’s largest temple, Wrat Chalong, is in the south of the island.
Accommodation
Hotel **/***: The small and basic hitel are in a side road of Patong. The beach is within around 5 minutes walking distance. Double room (DR) or single room (SR) with 2 star or 3 star standard.The rooms are basic and equipped with air-conditioning, TV and bath / WC, while also offering free wireless and cable internet access.
The
hotel has a small swimming pool and Internet access (DSL and Wireless
LAN). Distance
from the school:
about 5 minutes by Tuk Tuk
or 30 minutes on foot. Double rooms can only be booked by 2 people
booking and travelling together.
