Madrid
Madrid is the youngest capital in Europe. Its citizens know how to enjoy life. A magnificent cityscape provides the right atmosphere in which to learn Spanish and to experience the Spanish love of life. Madrid covers all the comforts and conveniences of a modern metropolis.
The school

In 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004, our Language School scored the highest total points for the certificate of quality, the CEELE, which is awarded every 2 years by the University of Alcala de Henares and which confirms the school's longstanding concept of quality teaching. Our school is situated in an 18th century building which looks like a palace and is only a few steps away from the Prado Museum, the Parliament and Retiro Park.

It has up-to-date equipment, a computer room and a student common room. All 14 classrooms are air-conditioned. The school team arranges meetings with Spanish natives, with whom you can practice your language skills. Adults of all ages study at this language school. This school is a favourite course centre for young professionals and for cosmopolitan students, who feel at home in capital cities of the world.

Sightseeing in Madrid
Madrid is a very lively city with a very interesting culture, various
concert-cafes, bars and restaurants and an exciting nightlife.
The real centre of Madrid is Puerta del Sol, the city gate which used
to be, in the 15th century, the most important entrance into Madrid.
The huge clock and the statue of the bear are now Madrid’s symbols.
We recommend a visit to the Palacio Real, at Calle Belén.
It is an impressive building in Italian Baroque style. The throne room
is worth viewing, as are the gardens, the Jardines de Sabatini and Campo
del Moro.
We recommend a visit to Madrid’s huge flee market, El Rastro. It
starts early Sunday morning in the Ribera de Curtidores. You will find
this a really interesting alternative to ordinary sightseeing.
Madrid’s nightlife takes place between Puerta del Sol and Plaza de Santa Ana on the Calle Huertas. Discover the bars, beer gardens,
tavernas, theatre cafes and restaurants.
Our school organises excursions to Toledo, Segovia and El Escorial.
