Located in a central and elegant area next to the University La Sapienza, our school is among the leading language schools in Rome. It is run by an Italian - German team and has a garden, balcony, terrace and computer room for students' use. Students are from international backgrounds. All 9 classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned and welcoming. All tutors are native speakers. Our school organises a varied social programme as well as meetings with native speakers to enable you to continue the learning experience outside lesson time.

Sightseeing in Rome
Take a walk back through history to where it all began!
One of the most beautiful places in Rome is the Piazza del Popolo. The
palace with its massive gates and outbuildings is a gateway into the
Eternal City. The Egyptian obelisk in the centre is 3000 years old.
The Porta del Popolo was built towards the end of the Renaissance
period. It was used as the main entry point into Rome for centuries.
The marvellous terraces above the Piazza del Popolo offer stunning
views out across Rome.
The Corso, Rome’s main boulevard, leads past various palaces, Renaissance,
Baroque and Rococo buildings. We recommend a visit to the Piazza di Spagna
with its large steps and the church Trinità dei Monti. The Fontana
della Baracaccia is the oldest symbol of the Piazza di Spagna.
Since the city’s foundation, the Capitol has been its religious
and political centre. The Forum Romanum, which was once the centre of
Rome, is now in ruins and can be visited daily.
Rome’s most famous ruin is the Colosseum. Its name derives from
the colossal statue of Nero which was once in the Colosseum.
This marvellous city is best discovered and explored on foot, as everything is within easy walking distance.
Accommodation
Flat share: Several course participants and Italian students share a basic flat with kitchen, bathroom/WC and lounge. You can book a double room (DR) or a single room (SR) with self-catering. Average distance from the school: 20 minutes by public transport or on foot.
Family: In double (DR) or single room (SR) with use of kitchen in a private household or breakfast (B&B). Half board (HB) is available at a surcharge. The rooms are often rented out by single persons and young professionals. Average distance from the school: about 20 minutes.
Hotel**: Single (SR) or double room (DR) with breakfast (B&B) in a quite comfortable hotel located in the city centre. The main station can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The hotel offers a garden where breakfast is served during the summer months. The hotel offers 9 air-conditioned simple furnished rooms. Many cafés, bars and restaurants are located near the hotel. Average distance from the school: 10 minutes on foot. Double rooms are only available to two persons booking and travelling together.

Language and Culture Course
In our language and culture courses you will study Italian in a friendly and informal atmosphere. Course participants from all over the world will either start to study Italian or will enhance their knowledge of the Italian language. Your language course will be accompanied by attractive leisure activities. During your course you can either live in a family, in a shared flat or a Hotel**. Exam Courses
At our language school in Rome, we offer the following exam preparation course: Preparation for the Certificazione di Italiano come Lingua Straniera (C.I.L.S.).
Please note:
- The exam course C.I.L.S. in Rome can cater for the language level A1, thus meaning that it is suitable for those with an elementary knowledge of Italian. Enrolment onto this course is subject to a grading test.
- The exams normally take place in the last week of the course, therefore we can only offer limited teaching in that week.
- You must pay the exam fee while in Rome. Please consult the table regarding how much the exam fee will cost.
