Denia is a beautiful Mediterranean town with about 33 thousand inhabitants. It is situated between Valencia and Alicante. Denia offers clear sunshine for an average 322 days a year, the summers are hot and the winters mild. Denia boasts 20 kilometres of beach and has been awarded the European Blue Flag for its exceptionally high quality water.
The restaurants in Denia offer a mouth-watering menu of the typical
Spanish rice dish Paella, as well as freshly cooked fish and good wine.
The town centre, the Marques de Campo, and the Paseo del Saladar invite
students to discover a wide range of art, fashion and shoe shops. Fresh
foods and fruit are available in the market, the 'Mercado Municipal'.
Splendid old townhouses from the 18th and 19th centuries are witness to the bourgeois
richness amassed by the raisin trade. Almost every month, there are religious
and traditional festivals conducted in the typical, life-loving Spanish style.

The multimedia room offers free internet access. The school also has a small library. Our professional and experienced staff teaches adults of all levels.

Language courses for families
The whole family can learn Spanish during a summer at our language school in Denia. While parents improve their Spanish on the standard course, the kids can learn and enjoy the various supervised activities on offer. There are two activity options to choose from: Spanish, Fun & Games (Option A) or Spanish & Sailing (Option B). The Spanish course for children takes place in the morning, at the same time as the adult classes. Families are accommodated in appartments, in double (DR), triple-(TR) or four-bed (FB) rooms. Each appartment has its own bathroom and kitchenette. The apartment complex also has a swimming pool, and the beach is just 50m away. Average distance from school: 15 minutes by public transport.

Sightseeing in Denia
Denia offers an all year programme of concerts, theatre performances, exhibitions and presentations. Denia’s main attraction is its castle which shows evidence of all the different cultures and people that inhabited Denia in the past. It also used to be the home of the Marques of Denia.
We recommend a visit to the old parts of town, Les Roques and Baiz la Mar, as well as the streets of El Carrer Major and Marqués de Campo, which is the locals’ most favourite place. Denia offers various sports facilities such as tennis, golf, football, basketball, volleyball, chess, darts and water sports.We recommend you start your evening entertainment in one of the various restaurants that offer live music and flamenco performances. Afterwards, you can dance through the night in one of Denia’s clubs.Our school organises salsa evenings and tapas tours.

Exam courses
At our language school in Denia, we offer the following exam preparation course: Preparation for the D.E.L.E exam.
Please note:
- You can only take the D.E.L.E. course in Denia from level B1 (intermediate) and above. Enrolment onto this course is therefore subject to a grading test before the course starts.
- The exams normally take place in the last week of the course, therefore we can only offer limited teaching in that week.
- You must pay the exam fee while in Denia. Please consult the table regarding how much the exam fee will cost.
