This magnificent city on the River Seine offers countless opportunities
to discover the 'joie de vivre', the French motto to enjoy life.
We recommend you visit the language laboratory in the Georges Pompidou
Centre library, the Musée d'Orsay - a collection of famous impressionists,
and of course, the Louvre, the biggest of the many museums in Paris.
There are some fantastic restaurants near the St. Michel metro station,
the Latin Quarter is popular with students from around the world for
its nightlife and the Café de Flore has the best drinking chocolate
in the world!
The school
Our school in Paris is situated in an elegant area of the city, only a short walk from Victor Hugo Square and no more than a 10 minute walk from the famous Champs Elysées.
The school stretches over two buildings and has a language laboratory and a cafeteria. All 16 classrooms are airy. Qualified tutors teach a lively, high quality programme. Teaching material is not included in the price and costs about £ 23.

Sightseeing in Paris
Paris is the cultural and political capital of France. It has countless historical
buildings and museums, as well as newly renovated areas – romantic and modern. We recommend a visit to the famous Louvre, home of the Mona Lisa, the
Venus de Milo and countless other treasures. We advise arriving early,
as you will need several hours to see all the pieces of art and really take everything
in.
The Eiffel Tower, highlight of the world exhibition in 1889, is the symbol
of Paris. You can climb the stairs or take the lift – the
views across the city are unforgettable.
The Champs-Elysées, home to luxury
boutiques, museums, theatres and parks, leads up to the Arc de Triomphe.
We also recommend a visit
to the Marais, one of the most beautiful areas in Paris. It hosts beautiful royal
buildings and the Place des Vosges, the former royal court. There
are numerous cafes and bars for your entertainment.
Our school offers weekend excursions to Normandie and the Bretagne.
Accommodation
Family: In single rooms (SR) with a choice of breakfast (B&B) or half board (HB). Average distance from the school: 25 minutes by public transport.
Residence: Single room (SR) with breakfast (B&B) and private bathroom. There are no kitchen facilities available but there is a cafeteria in this international residence. Average distance to the school: 40 minutes by public transport. The minimum age for this type of accommodation is 18 years.

Exam Courses
At our language school in Paris, we offer the following exam preparation courses: preparation for the Diplôme d' Etudes en Langue Française (D.E.L.F.) certificate, Diplôme Approfundi de Langue Française (D.A.L.F.) certificate and the Diplôme de Française des Affaires (DFA 1/2)
Please note:
- For the D.E.L.F. course, you must be at an elementary level (A1) of French). For the DFA1/2 course, you must be at an intermediate level (B1), whereas the D.A.L.F. course requires you to start at an advanced level (C1).
- The D.E.L.F. and D.A.L.F. courses can be taught either as a standard or intensive course.
- The exams normally take place in the last week of the course, therefore we can only offer limited teaching in that week.
- You must pay the exam fee while in Paris. Please consult the table regarding how much the exam fee will cost.
