Calgary is located on the River Bow in Alberta, Canada, not far from the Rocky
Mountains. After Toronto and Montreal, Calgary is one of the largest Canadian cities, offering numerous shops, bars, pubs and clubs.
In 1988, Calgary hosted the Olympic Winter Games, which brought numerous new attractions to the city, from white-water rafting on the Elbow and Bow rivers, to trekking and climbing tours in the Rocky Mountains, not even 65 miles from the city.
Calgary
is therefore ideal for sports lovers and also offers skiing,
horse back riding and golf, as well as the biggest Rodeo show in the world.
During the summer months, there are a lot of music and cultural festivals in Calgary, including the yearly Calgary Stampede, which brings to life the old era of Cowboys and Indians. There are various museums, theatres and galleries too. The parks are ideal
for relaxing in., and the locals are friendly and helpful.
Our school is situated in the centre of Calgary directly on the C train
line and near various shops, bars and restaurants. The school is housed
in a modern building with 9 bright and spacious classrooms, all of which are air-conditioned. The school offers great views on the Rocky Mountains
and the wide prairie. All tutors are qualified and the school has an
international atmosphere.
The school organises leisure activities to offer students the opportunity
to get together and practice their English.

Calgary has everything: shops, theatres, galleries, concerts, ballet,
dance bands and a unique nightlife. As Calgary hosted
the Olympic Winter Games in 1988, it offers a wide range of sports facilities
during the winter, as well as in the summer months.
We recommend a visit to the Olympic Centre, where you will find a lot
of information on the Olympics or take part in a simulated bob ride.
During the summer months, Calgary hosts various festivals. The Calgary
Stampede in June demonstrates the life of cowboys including various rodeo
