Following a Standard Course of 2 or 4 weeks (minimum of 2 weeks for advanced level, 4 weeks for beginner level), we are pleased to offer our course participants an opportunity to take part in unpaid work experience in a company in Valencia. This programme is available all year round.
Work experience is available in various sectors, e.g. trade, design, administration, tourism, advertising, and applied arts. You will find our work experience programme an important step in your personal development and of great benefit to your CV. Work experience in Valencia offers you the opportunity to get to know Spanish business methods and practices and at the same time to consolidate your language skills.
Requirements
Our work experience programme is aimed exclusively at highly motivated applicants with a minimum age of 18. You must have a high level of Spanish, i.e. speak Spanish fluently and be able to communicate in written and oral forms in Spanish business life.
Your application
In order to take part in work experience in Valencia, you will need a LISA! language course certificate which you will receive on completion of your language course. You will also require a CV with a photo as well as a letter expressing your motivations and interest in work experience in Spain (both must be written in Spanish). Please submit your CV and a letter stating your motivations and interest at least one month before your language course, so that we can find a suitable placement for you.
Administration fees
In the unlikely event that we are unable to find the right placement for you, we will be happy to refund the administration charge for work experience.

Accommodation
Family: Double room (DR) or single room (SR) with breakfast (B&B), Half board (HB) or Full board (FB). Average distance from the school: 20 minutes on foot.
Holiday flat: Double room (DR) or single room (SR) in a functionally equipped apartment. Shared kitchen, bath/WC and lounge with TV. Average distance from the school: 20 minutes on foot.

Residence: Can only be booked between July and September. Ensuite double (DR) or single rooms (SR) with breakfast (B&B), half board (HB) or full board (FB) in a student residence. No cooking facilities. Average distance from the school: 20 minutes by public transport.
All types of accommodation: Double rooms can only be booked by 2 people booking and travelling together.
