Work experience in FukuokaCourse participants have the possibility of combining their language course (minimum duration: 4 weeks) with work experience in a company based in Fukuoka. The work experience is unpaid and can last up to 9 months. The aim of our work experience is to give participants an insight into
Japanese society, politics, economy and culture through living and speaking with their host family as well as discovering the inner-workings of Japanese
companies. This is an experience of a lifetime and successful participants
will become part of Japanese society and business life.
RequirementsWork experience in Fukuoka is aimed at highly-motivated participants aged between 18 and 26. Applicants must be able to speak Japanese fluently and must have passed an official level 2 exam (1200 signs and 6000 words minimum). We recommend a language course of 8—12 weeks before your work experience. Your applicationWe recommend that you write an application before setting out on your trip.
The companies will require a Lisa! school certificate as well as a CV
containing your passport photo and a short letter in support of your application. Administration feesIn the unlikely event that we are unable to find the right placement for you, we will be happy to refund the administration charge for work experience. Administration charge: £ 515, payable to the school. AccommodationFor the duration of your work experience, you can book your accommodation
with a host family in a single room on a bed and breakfast basis for £ 139 per
week or a single room in a shared flat for £ 124 per
week. We recommend that you book your accommodation when booking your
language
course, as there will be a charge of 15,000 Yen for late accommodation
