Language Certificates confirm your level of the language and they are
valuable qualifications, which are recognised worldwide. They are particularly
useful for clients who need to have excellent language skills, e.g. at
university or for vocational purposes.
Our exam courses provide intensive preparation for the language diplomas. Exam
courses last up to 12 weeks. Please contact us for further information.
The Cambridge Certificates are run by the University of Cambridge and provide a marker of excellence in your CV. Exams include reading and listening comprehension, writing and speaking. The Cambridge Certificates can be taken at different levels. Your tutor will help you in deciding which level is most suitable for you. Exams will be taken at the end of your Exam Course.
First Certificate (FCE):
This exam includes reading and listening comprehension as well as speaking, writing and English grammar. The FCE certifies an intermediate knowledge of English.
Cambridge Certificate in Advanced English (CAE):
The CAE is an international certificate which can provide access to British, Australian and some American Universities. It is also recognised by a multitude of international companies. The CAE is a more practical exam and is for students whose level of English is above the FCE but below the Certificate of Proficiency. The exam comprises 5 parts: reading comprehension, writing, grammar / vocabulary, listening comprehension and speaking. It certifies an advanced level of English.
Cambridge Certificate of Proficiency (CPE):
This exam certifies an excellent level of English and can be used as an entry qualification for University.
The TOEFL exam is an entry qualification for American Universities. It certifies an advanced level of English. The test comprises three parts: listening comprehension, use of English / grammar and reading comprehension / vocabulary. We recommend a preparation period of 4 – 8 weeks. Exams can be taken every month. Please note: Your application to take the TOEFL test must be handed in at least three months before your planned exam date. Please apply for your test on www.ets.org/toefl/.
The IELTS exam tests your reading & listening comprehension as well as your speaking and writing skills. Reading comprehension and writing can be taken at two different levels, academic and general English. The IELTS Certificate is an entry qualification to Universities in Britain, Australia, New Zealand and various European Universities. Exams can be taken every month. Please note for the IELTS test that in some course locations you need to register several weeks in advance. You will find more information on www.ielts.org, as well as the application form.
TOEIC certifies a good knowledge of English in business, as well as good
communicative skills. TOEIC is a standardised test and there are several
levels (beginner to advanced). TOEIC is acknowledged internationally
and tests your reading & listening
comprehension as well as your speaking and writing skills. Please apply
for your test online at www.ets.org/toeic/ at least 3 weeks in advance.

Please note:

The D.E.L.F. and D.A.L.F. diplomas are the only diplomas recognised by the French Department of Education as well as being recognised internationally. The diplomas have several levels; each level corresponds to the guidelines laid down by the European Commission for Languages. Each level consists of a test in all four communicative disciplines: listening and reading comprehension, as well as oral and writing skills. We recommend a minimum 4 week course.
The D.E.L.F. certifies a good knowledge of the French equivalent to what you would have learnt at school. It tests and certifies a candidate’s ability to use French in everyday situations. Tasks are made up of topics which interest younger learners and test a candidate’s communicative competence in oral as well as written usage. The D.E.L.F. diploma can be taken at the following levels: A1, A2, B1 and B2. Texts are comparable to those used for GCSE level. D.E.L.F. A1 and A2 certify a basic knowledge of French. D.E.L.F. B1 and B2 certify a good knowledge of French and the ability of free speech in different contexts.
The D.A.L.F. certifies a higher knowledge of French, which would enable you to
study at a French university.Tests are based on written and oral communication with social and political topics. Texts are more complex and would correspond to A-level material. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a very good usage of French in texts regarding global developments as well as topical political
and social texts. The D.A.L.F. diploma can be taken at levels C1
and C2 and is considered to be quite a challenging test. Many French universities will accept the
D.E.L.F. B2 and D.A.L.F. C1 and C2 diplomas as entry qualifications.
Successful completion of these diplomas also certifies
a good knowledge of French for business.
This diploma certifies an advanced knowledge of business French.
These examinations are organised by the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Chambre de
Commerce et d’Industrie de Paris CCIP) for non-native speakers of French with a very high level of
French in business communication, who would like to have their knowledge certified with a diploma.
DFA 1: Examination for business French, level B2 (upper intermediate
level).
DFA 2: Examination for business French, level C1 (advanced level).
The examination comprises four parts (Compréhension écrite, Expression
écrite, Compréhension orale and Expression orale). Additionally, each
candidate will have to show a good knowledge of the social structure

The TEF is awarded by the chamber of commerce in Paris. It certifies a good knowledge of Business French and is highly valued in businesses as well as educational institutions. It consists of a 2 hour written paper and a 30 minute oral exam.

This diploma, which is awarded by the university of Siena, provides entry to Italian universities. It is a useful diploma for job related purposes, as it is required by the majority of Italian companies. The test comprises listening and reading comprehension, grammar, written and oral communication. We offer preparation courses and examinations in our course location, Rome.
The CELI is a well-known diploma awarded by the University of Perugia. The CELI certifies a general knowledge of the Italian language and can be taken at five different levels. ( These levels are comparable to those used for GCSE level. CELI 1 is equal to A2, CELI 2 to B1, CELI 3 to B2, CELI 4 to C1 and CELI 5 to C2.) The test comprises grammar, oral comprehension, speaking and writing skills. We offer preparation courses and examinations in our course location Salerno.
The CIC is also awarded by the University of Perugia. It certifies a good knowledge of Business Italian and can be taken at 2 different levels (B2 and C2). The test comprises grammar, reading comprehension, as well as oral and written skills with emphasis on business situations and business vocabulary. This diploma is awarded by the Spanish ministry of education in cooperation with
the Universidad de Salamanca and the Instituto Cervantes. It is an official
Spanish certificate required by both public and private institutions.
The exam tests candidates’ written as well as oral skills. The test comprises reading and listening comprehension,
essay writing, grammar, vocabulary and an oral exam.
The D.E.L.E. has 3 levels (inicial, basico and superior) and certifies a good
to very good knowledge of Spanish. Exams take place in May and November. Our
school in Málaga
offers D.E.L.E. preparation courses all year round.
D.E.L.E. inicial:

This diploma is well-known around the world and accepted by employers as a diploma which certifies a good knowledge of everyday German. The test comprises reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written skills and oral skills.
The Test DaF (Deutsch als Fremdsprache) is produced centrally and run around the world. It is suitable for university / college students who intend to study at a German university. Students will require a certificate of their knowledge of advanced German. The Test DaF is produced centrally by the Test-DaF Institute in Hagen, Germany. It is suitable for learners of German who possess a good knowledge of the German language. It comprises of reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written skills and oral skills. Exams can be taken at the specific university where you want to study. You may register online ca. 4 weeks in advance on www.testdaf.de.
